Shenzhen Zhupai Industrial Launches Photovoltaic Power Project in Dubai, Boosting China-UAE Green Energy Cooperation In December 2025, Shenzhen Zhupai Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen Zhupai") officially announced the launch of a photovoltaic (PV) power project in Dubai, UAE. This marks a core initiative for the enterprise to expand into the Middle East's new energy market and another practice of Shenzhen-based enterprises deeply participating in the construction of the "Green Silk Road". Reportedly, the project is located in a solar resource-rich area of Dubai. Leveraging the local advantageous lighting conditions, it plans to construct a modern PV power station integrating high-efficiency PV module application and intelligent operation and maintenance management. With a total investment exceeding 200 million US dollars and an estimated total installed capacity of 300 megawatts, the project is expected to generate over 600 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually after completion. It will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 450,000 tons per year and equivalently save 180,000 tons of standard coal in traditional fossil energy consumption, providing stable and reliable green power support for the Dubai region.

As a representative enterprise in Shenzhen's new energy industry, Shenzhen Zhupai has rich technical accumulation and mature experience in PV module R&D, power station construction and operation. The project will adopt internationally advanced high-efficiency PV technology and energy storage supporting systems to ensure the stability and sustainability of power supply. In addition to driving the development of the local PV industry chain and creating hundreds of jobs, the project will also realize the localized transfer of green technologies through technical exchanges and talent training. A relevant person in charge of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) stated that the project is highly aligned with the "Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050" and the "Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050". It will further increase the proportion of renewable energy in Dubai's energy structure and help build it into a global clean energy hub. The chairman of Shenzhen Zhupai said that the company will take the Dubai project as a starting point to deepen cooperation with the Middle East in the new energy field and contribute Chinese technologies and solutions to global energy transition. This cooperation is not only a vivid manifestation of complementary and win-win cooperation between China and the UAE in the field of green energy, but also demonstrates the core competitiveness of Chinese PV enterprises in the global clean energy market, injecting new momentum into building a community of life for man and nature.
